Proenza Schouler - Alexander Wang

real highlights I was looking for in New York again in vain. Proenza Schouler could not even inspire me correctly. Of course, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez is once again succeeded in creating a unique, coherent collection, the contrasting patterns are not simply so much my case. The designers were on a trip to Santa Fe inspired by traditional Indian blankets and then used the model as a basis for digital experimentation. The resulting motifs were on trousers and skirts made of solid material still had to bear well to shiny velvet but they simply inappropriate. Amusing details such as friendship bracelets, sandals and the felted hair styling attracted me but then again Proenza Schouler page. Alexander Wang
get material experiments but definitely better. In his case I could not convince the entire collection (see fur capes and quilted jackets), but that he managed the game with matte and shiny structures excellent. Especially the transition from silk to knit in one piece testified to Wang's sophistication. Thus, from a traditional wool sweaters suddenly an elegant silk cape. Like I've seen not so.
This can directly from the collections of Theyskens' Theory and Reed Krakoff nothing . Say And they also fit well to New York, for completely new ideas are rare here. But the mood on the catwalk can easily emulate. The combination of ultra-short shorts, long coat and transparent tights Oliver Theyskens was recordable as very good and can be easily at home handiwork. For Reed Krakoff, it was particularly the broad outlines that I liked. What is surprising is not that however.
For these same surprises and a little more courage in the autumn and winter 2011/2012 is now the London Fashion Week responsible.
